  1. "I don't think you'll get many paying customers once they realize there's a self-destruct switch that might go off if there ever is a glitch. " There isn't enough demand for $50
  2. Exactly why I am passing. Seems like free and donations is a better plan
  3. I think we all know the answer to that question
  4. I was able to update the RenewalIFLib.dll but I cannot get the z140 update to start. I have unzipped the file and it put the Z140 update folder on the root and that didn't work. Next I tried putting the Update, Firmware, and LT folders on the root along with the cardinfo.cif file. Neither one seems to take off and start the install.
  5. so why do we have two different downloads for say the 920 and 930....this adds a layer of confusion. I have a 920 but I did take a software update last year for the 930 features....which do I get?

I'd probably do it for 60 but I do agree 120 is too high

    2012 Maps

http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/PUSA/Car/Accessories/Map-Upgrades/CNSD-350FM it says x910 but I figured it would work with the 920 and 930 models so I called.....they confirmed it. So who is going to buy them?
  9. I am going to disagree with VBlue completely. I have a Rand McNally Nav system I used to keep in the glove box and the Pioneer is better than that (slightly). To be honest I would stay with the 910 you won't see much of an upgrade unless your maps are way out of date on the 910. I am not going to go through the hassle of looking to see if there are updated maps for the 910. If you get the 940 you will realize that the nav system is fine if you have an iPhone and use it to punch in your destinations. Avic Feeds is the only reason I probably still have my 920. It makes the nav tolerable.
  10. I saw the appradio is selling for 199 now ....is it worth the purchase?
  11. I felt Aha was a waste of time. Iheartradio would be a better choice
  12. Hey Vblue this is probably an old question but hardware wise I have the 920...any reason to go with the 940 or better yet any reason not to go with the 910? I believe the 910 is hackable....right?
  13. there was another post that had updated images....I have them all updated....at this point I am only short the clear channel ones and Opie and Anthony channel since it just changed like 3 weeks ago
  14. I tried and tried to find a better (cheaper) solution then the proclip options. No way around it they are the best. The thought of spending over $100 for a mount is pathetic when you think about it but the universal stuff is just garbage.
  15. I have solved all of this with my unit....I should have made a video of what I did. I have a WDTV that I disassembled and soldered in a connection to directly wire it to the cars power supply. It's a 12v power cord so no need to do anything with the power just tapped right into the decks power line. I then cut off the IR sensor from the board and soldered some wires to the connection points on the board then soldered the wires to the removed IR sensor. Installed the WDTV on top of the deck behind the dash with some double stick tape ran the wires out the front and mounted the IR sensor on
