The problem definitely seems to be Carplay related. I did a 35-40 minute drive yesterday, played music through the phone (connected via USB), but didn't launch Carplay. The HU never crashed/rebooted, played fine the entire time.

Screen freezes and the entire head unit reboots.

Has anyone found a fix to the crashing issue? I have an 8200nex and it is literally crashing every 5-10 minutes. Looking online it seems to be the maestro that is crashing, but I have not found a fix for it. Latest firmware I'm seeing from Pioneer is v1.08 which is 5 years old.

So does anyone know if they are releasing anything at Sema or will it be CES in January again?

I'm not sure if anyone has tried 32GB (everyplace says 16GB is max size), but I bought and tried the 32GB and it works fine.
