for sure a ROM can lead to this . android auto makes the phone act on your headunit screen . so if you have a glitch on the ROM it will be reflected in your headunit . By the way this is the 1st time to see a message like that !

charging not mean correctly connected . 1st thing you have to try another cable . if not work for you try to use another phone . also check your smartphone settings to be (Android Auto) -
I am sorry for this break . 1st you have to disassemble the unit to reach the unit board and you can see the damage happened . hope that it is only the female connector which broke or removed from the board and nothing happened to the board itself . if so you can simple solder it back or replace it with another one . I recommend you to go to service center as this procedure is not simple . specially you will have to disassemble the whole unit . the board is at the bottom and you have to remove every thing from top to down . send us picture of the broken connector so we may assist you

I just replaced my old AVIC-Z110bt with AVH-4100NEX what a wonderful unit . I am really happy with the new features . but I am having problems trying mirror my phone on the unit I have samsung Note 4 android phone . with latest lollipop OS and with Appradio application installed on it. I use USB2 on the unit . I succeeded in operating Android Auto on the unit . but not mirror link from setting I choose USB2> Mirrorlink After 60 sec of detection . my phone screen show that my phone is used by mirrorlink . with a nice icon on it , but on the pioneer screen nothing appears when I

I have AVH-P6000 dvd changer unit . and I have problems in hardware . the changer mechanism is blocked . it is no longer able to open the dvd mechanism . I need to do an advanced maintainance to it . but its mechanical parts are so complex So I need the service manual for this such model or similar to it to know how to adjust the dvd changer mechanism

We need a summary of the 42 pages of this LONG topic . I need to figure out what will we do next? My questions are 1- Is the problem that we don't know the app or process which use the GPS port? 2- Is it confirmed the GPS port ? and what is it? 3- why we don't try to crush into the Pioneer OS it self . we may succeed in replacing the Navi part of the system with what we need I am trying to find a tool like ( Network monitor ) on windows . it will help to find the process and application which use the GPS port . I was doing some modifications to my f10bt . and after some trials I accidently bricked it by deleting some files from the NDATA folder on the unit the unit now refusing to re-update the 210fm files . even with force method Can anybody here go to test mode on his unit ( by pressing home button + press right , left , right , left then right ) go to FILES Maintainance . then copy the folder Named NDATA into a SD card or Flash memory .
