  1. I also did the 2 wire bypass and everything work great, THANKS. I haven't been able to play VCD or SVCD in the AVZ-2. Is it even possible???

  3. I have the same problem as coweyeboy, and I followed the instruction to the T. 1. I grounded the parking brake. 2. I added a SPST switch between the grounded cable and the parking brake wire. 3. I disconnected my VSS, pink wire on harness. 4. And finally I reset everything I could find. It works for a while and then the video goes away and I get the “Viewing while driving warning†and I lose picture from the DVD. After reading the success others had I think I may be doing something wrong. HELP!!!
  4. I have an AVIC Z2 in my garage and I plan to install it in my 2004 FX4 F150 this weekend. A couple of questions: 1. Did you have any problems with the Satellite reception with the antenna placed on the dash, per your pics? 2. Are you able to view DVD while driving?
