    i also just did that update for appradio app. i did not notice any difference/or improvements with it. my radio just started acting up again, theres time when i select the panadora app on the radio it will not communicate with phone , it seems as it goes into a thinking mode and never sends the message to the phone, so i have to kill the pandora app on the phone and start from scratch and after the third time it will work...i belive that there might be a conflick with os in the radio. boy it sucks that i have to get stuck this headache.

    mossberg any problems with the deck,??so i havent had any more problems with mine, not sure what could have been the cause of the problem??

    nope, no problems try this : Go to settings- AV settings- set AV-1 for ipod. set Apps for wired! this is the setup that im running and it seems to be working without any hicups .

    mossberg ,can you stream (wireless) pondora and get the album art on the deck??when ever i stream slacker on the deck i do not get any album art, i do get the artist info and song info..please advice

    ladies and gents, today is saturday and i still have not came across the issue again , (which is a good thing!!!) mossberg the kenwood 6990hd is a good deck, but if you have 60 days with cf. i would hold on to for about 1 more week if the pioneer tech can not resolve the problem, send it back !!! any person that is willing to spend top$$ for a top of the line product should not have to deal with headsaches!!can you post a video of this issue so that other can view it ???thats what i was tring to do...but the radio corrected its self , i was also going to forward it the retailer(video). t

    news update ....last night i went ahead and reinstalled the Pandora skip on my iPhone just of curiosity and i tried it this morning on the way to work and no issue's with the radio??like i said i will give it to this Friday and if i do not have any issue's with i will keep it. what brothers me is that if this issue returns, i will be out of the 30 day return and i will get stuck with p.o.s ....because it would defeat the purpose of having the Pandora and aha radio which cause interference with each other.mossberg try to hard-booting the phone ,which phone do you have ??and o/s version??

    i also just bought this model about two weeks ago and had it installed, i have an iphone 4 connected with the Pioneer CD-IU51V AV iPod/iPhone Cable and it was doing the same thing as mossberg had mentioned Whenever I am listening to Pandora through the built-in Pandora app on the radio, the source will randomly switch to iPod and the screen goes black (like going into App Mode), so i wrote the seller from amazon about returning the radio and he said that he spoke to the pioneer rep. about this issue of mine and pioneer rep suggested that i do a hard boot up on the iphone .....which i did ....
