Hello everyone, I just had an AppRAIDO 3 installed in my car to be used with an Iphone 5. I have all the correct cables and everything is hooked up correctly. The only issue I have is when I connect the iphone 5 the Ipod app on the radio is grayed out. Is there a setting I've missed? Am I the only one with this issue? I did do a search and didn't find any information on this. Can any one help me with this. Everything else on the radio is working as is should.

Would some one from this tread be willing to put one of these together and program it and sell it to me for a fair price? I am more than willing to pay for parts your labor time and shipping. As far as SiriusXM goes it might be a little harder than you might think......Case & point with AR and AR2 you can't do bluetooth streaming which is the norm for the IPhone and SiriusXM. When using the doc cable I always get somekind of conflict which stops the app dead in its tracks..I have not figured a way around this yet.

Yes, I get the same thing with Navigon........Strange.

I have an AR2, just did the jailbreak for 4S IOS 5.1.1. Then installed App Ext. I can add any app to the AR2 menu screen but the touch screen function doesn't work........Really wanted this to work with Navigon. Anyone got any ideas how to fix touch? Did I miss something? Thanks

Have you tried disconnecting your car battery for a minute or so to reset the radio?

I have a question for all the forum members. I have the Pioneer AppRadio 2 and it has never displayed the "AppRadio Welcome Animation". Other than that I'm very happy with the radio. My Question: Is there a way to turn this on and off, or a way to trick the AR2 into playing the animation? What am I doing wrong? Thanks for any help on this.

You will also need a mounting kit that fits your car. Also if you want video in motion you will need the switch that was talked about.

Yes,AppRadio first and secound gen have GPS antenna's to help with the NAV apps. Depending on how it was installed the antenna could be mounted in the dash (behind the radio).

Since you got it off EBay, you will need to contact Pioneer. I don't know of an aftermarket video cable that works 100% with the appradio. Just tell Pioneer your AppRadio model and that your Iphone audio\video cable has broken. You may be able to get another under warrenty I you Ebay guy is an authorized reseller. But chances are you will have to pay for it..... It will fix your white screen.........Good luck.

A friend of mine has a 1st gen in his Challenger. I did this on his and it worked. In this order. Start your car and your AR1, wait about 15 seconds. Start the Pioneer AppRadio App on your Iphone and connect the cable. Wait on the AR1 and Iphone to sync up. Click allow on your Iphone Tap the App Icon on the radio. Then open YouTube on your Iphone. Now unplug the cable to your Iphone then plug it back in, and click allow. If you need to, tap the app icon on the radio again.......at this point go back to YouTube on your Iphone and start your video Click allow again if ask, your video s
