  2. Hi Mike, Thanks a lot for your great work ! I've installed the beta on my iPhone 4S, iOS 6.1 which I'm using with the AVH-8450BT app radio and I see some strange behavior: I can see the unsupported app icons and also the time and battery signals on the headunit, but when I choose an unsupported app from the headunit it opens on the iphone only, and the headunit screen turns black... I verified that I have all the dependencies installed and that I don't have backgrounder installed... Any advise? Thanks again ! Saul.
  3. Hi, I had the same thoughts... what I found out from the local Pioneer (Israel) is the following: 1. The 8400 will get some kind of an adapter to work with iPhone 5 (iPhone 5 outputs HDMI video while ipone 4/4s outputs composite video), and it won't be just a cable, it will be some kind of converter to change the iPhone5 HDMI output to composite video, probably will cost at least a 100 USD. 2. They will release around April 2013 (they said it will be in by June for sure) a new unit called 8500 which will have HDMI input and hence would be connectable to the iPhone5, would still req
  4. Hi, I just got my AVH-84xx and started using advanced app mode. I was suprised to see that the keyboards I can use in the compatible apps (e.g. waze) are comin from the Pioneer unit and not from my iPhone and that the language support is limited. I'm using hebrew on Waze when on iPhone and hence can't input an address from the headunit which makes the entire process very comlicated )disconnect appmode, input address on iphone, restart appradio, start waze from appradio,...). Am I missing anything? any way to get the App Radio to use the iPhone keyboards? Thanks !
