  1. I just took the key out, waited a sec, and put it back in. Three more tries. Did it over and over, never waited 10mins. Maybe make sure the key is far enough from the ignition when u remove it that the transponder doesn't pick it up. Doubt that matters though. I was parked and do always use parking break so above post right as well probably.
  2. Well, though I have nothing to add or help with, you're not alone. The interface blows. My 10yr old can use it a little better than me but not much. Fingertips only get so small. Seems like they want you to crash or poke the crap out of it in frustration until u break it. (If a month classifies as necroposting than I guess i'm guilty, but hey, I'm trying to participate so maybe don't flame me for it)
  3. I'd like to share my experience w/this, in case it helps anyone else. This did work for my quite well. I extracted to a blank 2gb SD card, used the "avic411" password, and followed the instructions w/out deviating. In case it matters, I did do the parking break bypass last year though I had the brake on anyway. So, I had two things that weren't exactly as described. First, when you get to the last steps where there's only supposed to be a password file, I also had another one there called "adb" something or other (If anyone needs to know, I can go do it again and take a pic).
