  1. Is that the Apple OEM adapter cable connected to the Pioneer cable or an aftermarket?
  2. How did you connect the processor? Was it thru the 130's rcas and the DEQ's rca's? Thanks. My friend has it he doesnt know how to connect it.
  3. I'm getting a little frustrated cause tis thing doesnt seem to pruduce sound. Cany anyone help. I need to know if i have to connect the front and rear rca s on the z11obt to the deq-p8000, the processor wont register on the axm controller now and it did a few days ago. I know the processor works. Do I need to run the blue turn on lead from the z110 bt to the processor? Thanks!
  4. ^^ Details please. just connect the Ip-bus cable and the normal power / ground connection. Select ext 1 since it will assign it to that ext. Use the grid on the screen to control your changer 1-6 , < > controls rr , ff .
  5. yes, select pioneer bt on your iphone and make sure your bt is on in settings on the iphone.
  6. Also I have my Carrizzeria/Pioneer MD changer connected to Ext. 1 ---I disconnected the USB and I have full control of the changer.
  7. I'm not a 100% sure it will but I have a D3 and I can control the xdv-p6 dvd changer and the usb thru ext 1 and 2. Try it, it won't screw anything up, just won't work.
  8. Re: Help Needed ! Connection: Deq-p8000/Z110bt/xdv-p6 by CamelTowing on Sat Feb 06, 2010 9:06 am If I remember correctly, you should be able to run optical from the DVD to the DEQP8000, but you'll still have to run RCAs to the Z110 for the analog sources. And you'll need the AXMP8000 to control it all Do I just connect the "main unit " RCA to the Subwoofer output on the Z110bt to the AXM then to the DEQ or do I need to connect the speaker wires also? Thanks!
  9. How do you back date it to the original disc. My disc is having issues so it won't let me use the original DVD map disc it came with.
  10. I would agree also and I'm an ipod guru. You should be able to connec it to EXT 1 or 2 you just wont get the full cd text or grphics on it.
  11. I currently have the Deq-p8000. AXM-P8000, XDV-P6, and soon Z110bt. I want to use this feaure however the Z11 doesn't have an optical input so I wanted to know how to connect it if I play the P6 dvd changer using the 5.1 surround. Including speaker wires also! Any suggestions, experience needed.
  12. Just FYI, your system is fine. There is a defect in Pioneer software in these units D3, N4, N5, Z series. I talked to my friend who is an installer and now owns his own shop and said that these were common software problems. He won't carry Pioneer because it works great and then is goes wierd. Mine does the same thing that you are having on the D3. I am going to get an N4 because I have a lot invested--cd changer, dvd changer, usb, xm, sirius, deq-p8000, BT, and MD instead of getting the newer Pioneer. I can't sell because I will lose out---I wanted the DNX9140.
  13. Mine plays music but not video thru the the Pioneer cable. It also will not charge. I have the 3GS. I also tried the Scosche adapter and it doesnt work on charging.
  14. I need to replace either the exterior map button or the entire face plate on the D3. is this easy to do either with just the button or the entire black face plate? I looked at both pac parts and Pioneer and there is no picture or description on the map button or the ' face plate"---I found grille assembly or decorative trim but no other info so I am not sure what I need. Thanks!
  15. Also, set the AV1 or AV2 to EXT, That way when you select either i will show video. Connect the ip-bus and video rca input. To operate you will select EXT 1 or EXT 2 not AV. Most likely the idea is to choose AV2 to ext since the ipod is set in AV1 to ipod. I will be getting the Z110bt soon. Need to sell my D3
  16. You have to set the xdv-p6 to autoplay, then you can select what disc you want to play. Only controls are the disc numbers, ff and rr..... << >> on the touch screen. Remote doesn't work thru the head unit--don't bother calling Pioneer they don't know.
  17. It will, I have a D3 connected w/ a Japan MD changer and XDV-P6 connected to the EXT1 and EXT2.
  18. As of now, nothing will. I purchased the Scosche passport, doesnt work.
  19. Not to disappoint you but it does act screwy. try resetting it. (reset button). I've had mine for lmost three years and jsut now the nav acts funny. the arrow goes the wrong way, takes too long to recalculate. I've had both the Eclipse and Alpine and the Pioneer has been the worst. But I don't travel much so I'm not too mad about it. I would like to get a kenwood instead. Just my 2 cents
  20. So are you able to play music and videos thru the ipod cable? I am asking because I will be getting one this week and then selling my 60gb video . Thanks!
  21. The iphone will play audio thru the cable not sure about charging. I will let you know next month, I am going to get the 3 gs phone.
  22. Not sure. I only have the ipod 60gb video and it chagrges on the ipod connector. My usb only uses data connection.
  23. I've tried numerous times to sync the BT audio part to the D3 and it will not. It only connects to the BT telephone mode. I also set the phone into stand alone mode and that doesnot work. The phone sotware is not windows based--any help would be great!
  24. There are two cables from pioneer, one is a single adapter that plugs into the unit and your MP3. It is able to do audio and video depending on how your MP3 is set up--usually at the headphone jack. the other is 3 rca connections. Both worked when I connected the 60 gb ipod video I use. If you have an iphone you will need to get the rca cable along with the composite cable from apple. The single plug will only work in audio not video on the iphone. Note: if you use another mp3 player or ipod ---control is from the player not the unit.
  25. I wanted to share this with anyone who has a Pioneer unit including the D3, N4, and N5. I connected the japan carrazeria 6 MD changer which works great. I connected the xdv-p6 and it works also. USB was connected also. The Axm-p8000 controller is also connected. What i first did was connect the P6 and USB to EXT 1 and EXT 2 ---recently added th P6 which the unit set up as EXT 2. I then added the MD changer so I had to use the AXM controller unit to control the P6 which is now operated thru the AV1. I will later add the DEQ-P8000 which I will write an update to this thread. I current
