What process did you take to update it? Are you in Europe? Some people have had that problem from the other 4.01 files

I dont have the unit but read it does. But If I cant do it myself I have hard time endorsing it.

not at 5.1.1 have heard nothing good about it... Ive had every iphone and just about every major update on it and I cant recall ever really having an issue. I can even stream using icloud match without problems.

This is most likely an iOS issue. Plug another device in an see if it works properly.

This is most likely an iPhone issue not an avic issue. You will have to grab the voice_tts files out of your back up I believe and place them in the appropriate folders. The base files used for this was a US avic so you get UC voice files. You'd need to replace Samantha with who ever you want from UK

Try a regular 2 gb cheap sd card

put testmode 2.3 on a freshly formatted SD card put it in avic and start engine it will take a moment and then will load to whqat looks like windows 97 click start, choose explorer. click on MY Flash Disk so its highlighted, up top click edit copy then click on SD card inside your folder so its highlighted, uptop click edit paste

After doing service mode part need to eject SD card and put test mode files on it. And delete wince images

Yes it's found within my torrent, it's not an update it's a backup of a 3.0 avic. You have to update the wince files then add 3.0 backup. You can read about how to do it on hacks mods thread

yeah could be grounding itself and making it like was getting a call so muting. That is just my best guess.

Make sure you have them putting correct SDMLC files on, in one section of the directions you have the US Canada not EW western Europe

I am not familiar with this units wiring but does it have a mute wire? Did you improperly connect it?

I answered in your PM but just so everyone knows, it's best to flash wince with the files you are about to put on. So if you are gonna do a format with wince you use the same version wince image from the backup you will be putting on it. Glad we got the unit back up and running

Who did install? I would assume its an install problem.

I used multiple iPods on avic with fx3 software. Though not a 120gb do you have a thumb drive you can put music on? Does that work (have to change settings for USB)

What is the error message? Are you pasting the files from within te folder "my flash disk" to the Avics my flash disk? Does it give you memory filled not enough room message?
