I received the drive today, from opening the box to up and running was 7 minutes. It works prefect. I had a Z2 with bypass, i now have a Z3 with bypass and 39gig of space for music. This a great way to go if you do not have the time go thru the long down loads and imaging. I purchased this drive from garrettoomey, he has a ad in the Classified forum. Great service and very prompt.

I installed it and the 2 wire bypass with ebrake grounded still works fine on a Z2

This drive will handle the beating that a car installation will put on a hard drive. The drive is Hitachi Endurastar Extreme Environment Hard Drive, it is available in 30gig now and should be available soon in 40gig and 50gig. It is not cheap. The J4K model will handle temperatures between Operating -20 ~ 85°C; Non-operating -40 ~ 85°C.
