I have noticed the same issue.. and when in ituens playing songs also drains the battery, does not charge.

Echo that.. Also, what about adding a remote with out steering wheel controls. I found that EQ on the radio was not that great with my sub either until I did auto EQ with a microphone hooked up.. All I used was a cardiod mic I have ffom my recording studio. Now i can switch to different EQ patterns set up after Auto was run simply .

Finally got my cable from China yesterday .. Tested out perfect on A/V adapter. Build a mold and epoxied into a removable panel in the DASH.. Now no cable dangling and only one needed running from dash to phone when wanted.

I am guessing not also.. Patiently waiting the results though.. i will turn the short pigtail from the av adapter into a socket in the dash with some fiberglass .. Then just plug this extension in.

Wish I could just get a female lightning coupling to mount into dash. Searched everywhere
