  1. Hey chane, Like that photo! Driving down a highway, at night, watching a movie, while taking a picture,,, Pioneer puts the security on their dvd/nav units for people like you!! Atleast you were only driving 40mph. ``````````````````````````````````````` Hyperite, On a more serious note, should I be concerned with this update being applied if my Z2 ever needs to go to Pioneer for service? Obviously the harness stays in the truck in this type of situation, so who knows if the 2/wire bypass was applied or not but will that particular file from the update stick out l
  2. I did not reset my unit, nor did I erase my phone registration, and the bluetooth update worked fine. For testing purposes, I called a friend of mine who is all too familiar with the ehco he gets when talking to me in my truck, he said the echo was alot better but was still there. I also tend to keep my volume kind of high when talking over the Z1, so I know that doesn't help. If anything, the bluetooth update will allow you to utilize the 2 wire bypass as earlier mentioned and just this alone is well worth it.
  3. I recently removed my perfectly working Z1 out of my truck and had Car Toys in Fort Worth TX install it into my new truck. While installing the unit, Car Toys somehow managed to break my Z1, screen will open, but no longer close without me helping it by pushing. Car Toys is claiming full responsibility, but only after I had to argue with them that the screen has NEVER had problems before. Now, my salesman is having problems locating a new Z1 at any other stores, but has 2 units being delivered tomorrow. The salesman thinks the units may be demo units but won't know until tomorrow.
