I turned the Tracking feature within the map settings to (Always On) but I noticed that after a couple days all of the tracks dissapear. I thought this would be a cool feature when I was out in the wilderness or off-roading on trails and it could map the path and leave it there for the next time I returned. I can however see why it would be annoying to have little dots everywhere on the screen, but if it offers the option I think it should just do it. Any input?

I have a Treo 650 as well and it works fine with the bluetooth adapter for the z1. Been almost a week now and I've been using it consistantly with no issues.

Same happened to me man. I was pretty peeved. It worked to a point, but the features were all dimmed out and unusable. I just had my unit swapped the other day and it sure added a lot to the unit's functionality and usefulness to me.

I got the bluetooth kit and a treo 650...so far no problems. It connects when I turn the car on and stays connected...no drops. The treo is a pos btw, never seen a phone reboot before I had that thing..

Hey guys, back to the original issue. I know people have tried cloning the hard drive using software, but has anyone tried cloning using hardware? I work in IT and we happen to have a hard drive duplicator for use when we want to make a quick dupe of a hard drive. I'm looking to make a couple backup's of the z1 drive so that I don't have to go through hell if the hard drive craps out on me.

:BUMP Don't let this topic die, I want an answer. I cannot believe this hasn't been answered yet, let alone made known to the public. The detour feature for the z1 simply sucks. Once in a while the xm nav traffic pops up and tells me there is traffic ahead and would I like to reroute, in this occasion I will say yes and it will work fine. In all other occasions if I have a route programmed into the unit it will not let me reroute, even though the button is there it is grayed out and the only way to reroute yourself is to turn off they highway or path your following.
