  1. Has anyone figured this out? This issue is really getting to me. Seems kinda silly to have so many video options for the main unit without them being able to be shown on the rear monitor.
  2. Can anyone tell me what needs to be done to display video from an Iphone 5 to a rear monitor? The 'mirror' selection isn't working.
  3. I'm guessing the 'sub' that the manual is referring to is an aftermarket sub. If you have purchased a wiring harness for your vehicle, and you make all the straighforward color matched connections, everything should continue to function. The wirig harness you have that will plug into your vehicle will most likely use the remote wire to power your factory amp, which will power your factory sub. The connections you make for the speakers will most likely feed input to your factory amp and thus provide sound to all of your speakers. Unless you're installing any aftermarket items, you can p
  4. I'm glad I'm not the only one pissed about the useless phone button. If I press a button that looks like a phone, I epect to get to..... phone functionality. The warning screen wouldn't even bother me much if after it I was taken to THE PHONE SCREEN! Instead, I'm shown the map. Really? I wanna make a call and you wanna show me where I am? It's getting harder for this thing to grow on me.
  5. I don't know anything specific about those adapters, but from another new 150 owner, just because you don't have video doesn't mean that the unit doesn't work. I have two aftermarket screens in the rear and when I first installed my 150, I got no picture. I thought something was wrong or incompatible or disconnected or something. Turns out that the 150 is very finnicky/selective about what it shows to the rear screens. Before buying any adapters or having anything re-installed: 1. Make sure the output for rear monitors is turned on. 2. Make sure you have the output set on a source (DVD w
  6. This one costs less, comes from the US and looks like the connector isn't as fat (the part that would be showing/hooking up to the phone) http://www.ebay.com/itm/8-Pin-Lightning-Extension-Extender-Cable-for-iPhone-5-iPad-4-mini-iPod-Touch-5G-/200926608241?pt=US_Tablet_eReader_Chargers_Sync_Cables&hash=item2ec828bb71
  7. I'm having issues using my iPhone 5 with my 150bh. The only way anything is displayed/recognized is if I set it up as an android device, and even then nothing will display to the rear monitors. I've tried every setting there is to no luck. Anyone know anything else I could try?
  8. Correction - it isn't a motion detector, it's a compass. I went back out and secured my jammed in wire better and moved the radio around to see if I'd get the message. Well, I didn't get the message but when I put it on the map, the vehicle direction changed as I moved the radio. I jammed the wire 'properly' (if that makes any sense) and went for a short drive. Compass still works, no lockout message. For anyone that wants to jam a wire in instead of moving the mute, look at the front of the wire harness (the side that plugs into the head unit) and you should be able to see the wire al
  9. Wsup everybody - noob here. After installing this thing, I must say - I'm pretty pissed. I replaced my 5/6 year old JVC KW-NX7000 with this unit strictly for the iPhone 5 compatability. I figured everything else would just... 'work'. Silly me. I have two rear monitors and a PS3 that worked perfectly fine with my old HU, with no special settings necessary. Now, after installing the Z150 it took forever just for me to verify that the 'video out' function actually worked. I thought I received a dead unit. Talk about being 'finnicky' - this thing has a setting for every fricken thing! Anyw
