thanks for the reply. I actually found a page under NAVI menu/traffic/XM status that tells me whether the signal is "strong", "very strong" , etc.

Just installed my own D3 with the XM module. Everything works great...but since I did both the GPS and XM antenna placement (behind the Instrument cluster on top of a metal bar), I am kind of worry about signal strength. I checked the GPS signals through system info and that seems to be working fine with 6-7 gps icons on orange, but I have yet to find a page to check the XM satellite signal strength. Any pointers? thanks

z2 or d3. it's about 2 years old, and looks like bobmun says it's on there so I am happy

I just received my CARPI221 harness from them too, but what did you do about the ISO connectors (one for power, one for speakers) that are suppose to fit perfectly for the europe car audio market? I know I can cut the harness and splice them in, but I want to see how you did it.

I think you guys need to track down a tested-bypassable Z2 first, then extract the image and play with it. Since rage2 confirmed his june unit appears to be a non-bypassable one, everything that was done before should be disregarded.

how about selling us the new bypassable Z2, wellknown-n-da-biz?

I considering between Z2 and D3, and according to pioneer website that's 2 sof the thing that Z2 has and D3 don't. But their website doesn't show me what they look like. Anyone can point or post a screenshot? thanks
