  1. Yes it works. You ned that jet ware software. ITs on the forums somewhere.
  2. I have an HTC S620 and i was running the Tmobile windows mobile 6 and it worked fine. The S620 and the dash are the same. Please upgrade your ROM and hten run it.. The Dash works trust me.
  3. I am using a hacked HTC S620 (using HTC Beta Windows Mobile 6 ROM), and it works no problems, except there is no contact list push. I love this unit!!
  4. Received my BTB200... I am using an HTC S620 flashed with the T-mobile Windows Mobile 6 ROM on the Rogers network. I installed Jetware to push my phonebook, and hten i uninstalled jetware. CONFIRMED WORKING (NO JETWARE) Make and receive calls Bluetooth audio Signal strenght Battery LIfe Voice dial for use on Microsoft voice command 1.6 (however there is an issue in that, there is no audio feed back. I can say the name to call and confirm, bu there is no voice prompt saying, "DO YOU WANT TO CALL PAUL?") CONFIRMED NOT WORKING (NO JETWARE) Phonebook push. The only way to p
  5. Thanks, I did have an xbox in my 2003 maxima, but the noise was bad, but i did use the XBOX remote ( i reran the IR port from the trunk to the front dash) It worked well, but the noise was bad. I will give taht a shot
  6. Is the mediasonic MG25 the same as the avox?
  7. Don't know why you love the unit then ! It's a NAV. There are plenty of full featured non-nav "radios" out there for less than $1000. Is eveyone in here satisfied with the D3 (and other Pioneer Nav's) as a radio, XM, backup cam monitor, DVD player, IPod unit with a Nav that cannot pick a simple route correctly ? Had I known about this problem before my purchase, I definintely would've looked at another brand. But honestly, this i s the only unit that has everything that works so well together and at a price of $699US, there isnt much competition out there.
  8. Hi guys, need your input on this. So far, running DIVX on DVD's is getting a little tiresome, and i rather leave my navi disc in there. I have a 30gig IPOD video for which i am stacked with Mp3's and podcast, and i rather not convert my library of divx files into MP4's. So here are my choices: 1. XBOX system - I have A/V cables from D3 running to the trunk, an invertor, and logitech wireless joysticks. - To turn the xbox on and off, i am using a channel on my VIPER alarm to flick the switch of the XBOX PROS: 1. Costs me nothing because i have a 160gig Xbox, and all the
  9. I KNOW WHY!!! because the Pioneer Navigation is a piece of $hit. I love the unit it and all but seriously, the Navigation part of it is really flawed. Its like its routing longer distances on purpose all the time!!!
  10. Compared to my factory Chrysler navigation, i will say the pioneer really sucks @ass.. My chrysler navi was WAY more realistic in terms of distance and routing, this pioneer is like its drunk or something. I would NEVER recommend the Pioneer for navi purposes as there are far wiser choices than this.
  11. Agreed, I was so excited taht it would read my dual layer 8.5gig mp3 disc, but MY EFFIN GOD, thats the worst idea. I bought a 30gig IPOD and i would never look back. There is NO RANDOM feature on CD/DVD mp3's (ie when you press next track). Second, it takes for ever to get to the next list, and it wont let you hold hte button down to scroll.. IPOD + D3 = the BEST
  12. can you refer me to what port you are talking about? In my last car 2003 Maxima, i actually ran usb lines to the front dash, and hacked the IR port to interface with the steering wheel controls
  13. I did everything, pressed every button and nothing goes to the next random track!! Besides i think a 30GIG IPOD video shoudl work out nice. Only problem now is all my video is divx/xvid and would take billion years to convert it to MP4. I think for the video side am going to instally my xbox in the trunk or buy an AVOX. I used ot have an xbox in my old car hooked up to a 7" screen. XBMC rocks!
  14. Thank you very much.. I am rushing out to buy an IPOD
  15. I think this is a MASSIVE flaw in the design of pioneer decks. If i buy an IPOD and hook it up, does this still happen? When i press next track on shuffle mode, does it go to the next random tracK?
  16. Does this allow you to play MP3's in random order?
  17. I am curious abou thte same thing as well. Why would it be like this. I read the manuals and i dont see how this is possible?
  18. I burned a dual layer MP3 with DVD-R and it reads perfect (Ridata DVD-R DL). however for some reason i cant get random MP3's to play. I pushed the shuffle but when i hit next track, it doesnt randomly go to the next track. instead it goes sequential. What gives?
  19. CONFIRMED. DVD-R dual layer does work with MP3's and the NAVI discs.
  20. COMPUPLUS is awesome. Ordered June 23, 2007, received June 28, 2007 in Canada. Total taxes and brokerage was only $112 CDN. Total to me is $933CDN shipped all inclusive. Compare that to buying locally at Futureshop or Best Buy $1299 + tax = $1,480.86 Total savings = $548
  21. Ok, shouldn't be a problem. Thanks VBLUE.
  22. Thank you very much for your clarification. You are correct in that DEI systems provide negative (up to 200ma). I have a Viper 5900 SST btw. I think i am going to just do the following (HOPEFULLY THIS WILL WORK when i get my unit on thursday). 1. Viper Channel 5 - MUTE FUNCTION: ground relay to mute on AVIC D3 (remote muting will come in handy sometimes) and even when remote started. Will set as Latched. 2. Viper Channel 6 - D3 BYPASS disable: ground relay to relocated mute wire and parking wire so i can remotely enable the bypass. 3. Viper Channel 4 - D3 Valet mode: rela
  23. Have you had any problems with this setup? I am going to run a wire to my VIPER ALARM so i can remotely mute the unit (ie. if i remote start the car and the volume was on full blast).... THat would be much sweeter than running a relay on the turn lead. ED
  24. nobody can confirm this? Trial and error time? LOL
  25. Sorry guys, What i meant was, I know that everybody has been using DVD+R dual layers. I just wanted to know if i should return the spindle of DVD-R dual layer DVD's i bought to get DVD+R's. Weird thing is that on the pioneer site, it says DVD-R's. I want to back up the navigation discs on DVD-R dual layer, and put my MP3's on dual layer as well as divx.
