so get another circuit writer, and do it again?

my bad man, i just start typing and typing and dont stop. sorry man and everyone else who reads my posts.

iv been to lazy to see if i messed up my p brake wire or if pioneer actully removed the solder or whatever is in the circuit writer pen, it sux i like having acess nav settings, i cant even do that. i have a pair of 8in visors so im not hurting with the lack of dvd player on the navi screen, i keep up my map. Also since i hooked my batt/memory wire (yellow) up the yellow in the car and ran it to my fuse box for a quick constant, every ten mins of so i get a pulse bass sound from my subs like, woof woof woof woof like feedback in pulses for about a min or so, but then it goes away. Any ideas?

i had mine grounded through the ground in the harness with the solder pen bypass and had no issues for over a year till i sent it to pioneer for the flex cable upgrage and now its not bypassed anymore i didnt think to chk b4 installing it so now tomrrow i ahve to take it out try to find my old oen prolly have to buy a new one, its not even the movies as i have 8" visors but the navi functions i hate having to rush at a light to get somthing done, but tomrrow it starts again, im also getting this co-corrent like every 5 mins a feedback form my subs no like a hiss like a bad ground but like a wo

thats the exact pen i got a year ago and did mine with now after piponner did my new flex cable i think they removed the pens solder also all i did was ground out the p.brake and it werked never had a switch on my n2 aqnd it worked, what color was the p.break again.....

i was going to go the ebay route but i got my avic fixed for free and the only down side was they unbypassed it all i need is a drop of solder or a solder pen and im golden pioneer took about 3 or 4 days turnaround and then units fine they just remomved the solder from the 2 points undedr the sticker of my n2 no biggie i almost went the ebay route until i found out pioneer was doing it for free free or 150 ill go free i might have just not done the parking break correctly also i didnt physically take my deck out yet to seee if they removed my solder so it might be a shitty wiring job by

BEsides the paperwork saying my unit no matter and even though it still IS UNDER WARRENTY since i modded it (bypass) i have to pay atleast a 200 base price for a out of warrenty check up and a 70 dollar fee if the unit is fine and nothign is put into it, so 200 to take it in and 70 to test it, not even to fix it so if i was u do like i didnt do, i used a solder pen so i know another pen would have removed the mall mod and i could have redid it like i have to do now since they undid my BYPASS thats the updated portion PIONEER SHIPPED THE UNIT BACK FIXED BY UNBYPASSED IT FOR ME SO I HJAVE TO DO

i could have sworn i used the aux b4 maybe im bugging anywyas i needed fuses for my visors i hit them and grounded them out so needed to replace that fuse thats only for the visors tbhough, i know everything else is connected to this yellow wire i have comming from the car then i hav e the avic one all i need is a wire to tie the two of them to... believe me iv installed this deck in about 5 cars now so i thought i had it down but i messed up the ill. and now this the ill i dont care i can manually turn it on and off in the nav settings but the having to reload the navi and time and settings

i pulled a jenset out which had the new hookups harness to harness no hardwiring juck click and go we need them for avicvs anywyas i pulled the yellows together and noting then adding power to them the two one form the avic the other i thought was form the cars harness i was dark out i guess ill have to rip it apart again tomorrow i was looking for a plan b jik i cant find this damn wire... tia sean im no hooking vss or anything like that, ohhh question where is the AUX input when u enable it in settings i know the video input on the brain but an aux...? i just used a 1male to 2 fe

im installing my n2 that i just got bak form pioneer for the flex upgrade, i pulled it form my jeep grand cherokee and i got a galant now a 98, i hooked the yellow batt/mem wire into live RED, but everytime i turn the car off i loose all settings and the lock/unlock and a few other thigns dont werk when the car is off when they used to with it off, like when i turn the car off i usually use the lock thing on my door panel to locak all doors now it doesnt work unbless cars on so i know i have to find a CONSTANT to connect the 2 yellows to one from my deck and the other from ym car the cars cloc

well i sent my unit in with a manufacturing date of april 05 so its still under warrenty said in the paper work they sent bak to me fixed the ribbon cable but said if anyother work is needed due to mods i have to pay 200 dollars so if i was you i'd get a flux penthen remove the solder and get a solder pen and redo the bypass oh well atleast they fixed my blank screen about to reinstall (mon) anyone remeber what the i thnk its orange with stripe and how to set up the dim to work correctly..thanks in advance
