  1. Has anyone installed their units into a 2011 or 2012 Grand Cherokee? What parts will i need to do this. Any pictures would be helpful as well.
  2. I have a x930 in my yukon denali. I want to take it out and replace with with an older f90 because i'm trading my car in want to bring my x930 with me into my new grand cherokee. Is the back harness different on these models or can i simply remove the x930 and swap in the f90? Also what will i need for the x930 to be installed into a 2012 Grand cherokee
  3. That was the only good thing about the f90bt i had. cant believe that took that out!
  4. Unless i'm missing something in the manual i can not find how to access a POI along the route. My f90 had this feature and it was the only good thing about that system. If i'm being lame and missing something big, would someone please point me in the right direction. Thanks
  5. Whats the difference between the IU50v vs the IU51v? I have a x930bt
  6. Do all x930bt owners like the navigation aspect of their units?
  7. I have read a few posts on here that state the x920bt has navigation problems. Lagging, distances off, passing streets..that sort of thing. My question is does the x930bt suffer these same problems? Im trying to decide between a 920 and 930. I dont need a rotatry wheel as i use steering wheel controls so that part isnt important. VR also isnt the biggest concern for me either. But a lagging navigation would drive me crazy. If anyone knows how the x930 nav works please let me know. Thank you
  8. I have the f90 with xm radio. Every time i turn off my car (2003 yukon denali)my xm radio starts changing the channels on the screen. the actually sounds is still from my last channel. this gets very annoying becuase when i start my car it is always on a station i didnt leave it on or on the 01 channel. it doesnt matter if i have presents for channel or leaving them all blank.
  9. I uploaded the new update 2.006 and now need to reload the file to bypass the speed sensor. in the old date zip file it was under project_config. But i do not see this file in the new data file on the f90. Is there somewhere else i'm suppose to put this file or what. any help would be great. thanks
  10. if you have a bose system they used a connector part that goes inbetween the bose system harness and the pioneer harness. that needs to be turned up. it will be really loud after that
  11. mine did the same thing after i reset everything. Do you have the navigation voice on? if you dont, you need to turn it off in 2 places. under the settings/ navigation/ sound settings and under AV source settings. I did that and it got rid of the hicups while driving
  12. Can anyone do some cool GMC/Denali backgrounds. Anything with a cool background and GMC and Denali in the picture..that would be awesome. Thanks guys
  13. my left speaker goes in and out. I have yet to take it back to best buy because i dont drive my denali much while i'm at school but i will be getting it fixed. I'm assuming something is lose somewhere. Mine happens at a stop or while driving. anything specific i should tell them when i take it in?
  14. it really sounds like a skip.. it doesnt last long enough to be muted for navigation instructions. plus i have all the volumes for that set to zero. i'll try resetting it tomorrow
  15. what would i do to stop this then? i havent even added my xm yet. how can it not run what its suppose to?
  16. to add to this. i Found when i go to the sound settings and move the slidebars for the volume, it will cause the same sound skipping noise while the ipod is playing. what would be causing this?
  17. whenever i have a destination set in navigation, all AV Sources skip or lag behind. its really frustrating to listen to music when it skips every 5 seconds. this problem does not happen when the navigation is not being used. anyone else suffer this problem or have any ideas?
  18. any fixes to this situation? When a destination is set, my music, CD or IPOD has little glitches. its sounds like a CD skipping which shouldnt happen if i'm listenin to the ipod...doesnt seem to happen if the navigation is not being used.

    Mute Wire

After i moved my mute wire to do the bypass, i noticed it is loose a little bit. I have it in there as good as i can without doing anything else to it. I've noticed that when i have a destination set, my ipod, CD, and radio all cut in and out almost like a cd skipping for one sec. At first i thought it was just the ipod but have noticed it in other devices. It does not seem to do this when there is no destination. could this be from the mute wire being lose? i have all the volume sets down to off too but it still happens? any ideas?
  20. I have had the D2, D3, and now the F90bt. The D3 had the worst navigation out of all 3. It was constantly off, even though all my wires were hooked up including the VSS. It would get lost, tell me bad routes and constantly be ahead or behind where i actually was. The F90 works alot better. As far as the bluetook, i liked the d3 better. quicker connection. Also i'm maxed out on volume in the f90 as where i could keep turning up the volume on the d3. i feel the ipod for the f90 is a little better. Easier to search for a specific artist and while in map mod, it keeps what songs are playi
  21. when u say cut out, what do you mean? are you saying the ipod would not be connected when u started the unit or when u were listening to the ipod it would cut in and out and speakers would go in and out?
  22. I got the parking wire grounded and i also tried to move the mute wire. After the best buy install, the mute wire was connected to a brown wire. I undid this and ground the mute wire. I covered up the remaining brown wire. not sure if i did everything correctly but for the parking wire is grounded. My only problem now is, my ipod makes sounds like a CD skipping. Does this have to do with my mute wire at all. I have checked and rechecked everything for the ipod but it still makes the noise. Its only the ipod too, not anything on the radio. any suggestions?
  23. also i'm trying to ground the parking brake wire after best buy installed it and said no they couldnt ground it for me. So the green wire that i found ( that i assume is the parking brake wire) has been installed deep into my dash along side a pink wire. does this change what i need to do?
  24. Is this the parking brake wire i need to ground. Its the lightest green colored wire that is going into the black connector. I dont know how to add pictures to this so would anyone with knowledge of this let me email the picture that i have of the wires. thank you[/img]
