  1. Your right it is a Z2 not a Z3. I know you have a service to install the software and mods. I don't need the larger drive or any data copied over. Is the upgrade available for me to load the new maps myself and/or do I have to purchase the new map software? Will I run into issues with the mods going away? I loaded the previous updates to the unit.
  2. Thanks garr..., that was easy. You seem very knowledgeable on the Z3's, maybe you can answer another question. My Z3 version is 02.0000, I have the updated software that allows me to put in map information while driving and watch DVD's while driving. I would like to get the 3D update. What do I have to do to make this happen? I don't want to mess up the mods. or updates that I have now.
  3. I have a Z3 with a backup camera that working fine when I put the truck in reverse. I tow a 5th wheel so I mounted the camera on the back of the 5th wheel and it works fine when I put the truck in reverse. I want to tow a trailer behind the 5th wheel, I would like to have a switch in the truck to turn on the camera at will, so I can see the trailer while I'm driving down the road. Can you halp me with the mods I need to do in order for this to work? Thanks for your help in advance...
  4. One problem with my bypass maybe someone can help me with. I installed the ISO software update, I grouned the 2 wire bypass using the mute(yellow with black strip) wire in #2 and grounded it and the light green wire grounded. Now the Nav systems works fine while moving, the DVD plays while moving great. But I have a AV input (archos) that used the AV Input function on the Z2 that is non-selectable now. Now I can't use it to play music through the Z2. Any Ideas????
  5. I was able to us ISO file and get my Z2 updated, thanks to Mazada. One more question, could someone post the link to the bypass wiring instructions I need to do next. I seached but couldn't find the thread.
  6. I copied the "sdata" directory onto a CD and put it in my Z2. Pressed the 'map" button and nothing happened. Questions: 1) Do I need to unlock the hard drivce first? 2) Do I need to press and other button? 3) Do I need to copy the all the files in one directory Thanks
  7. I copied the file down onto a CD from the site. Inserted the CD into the Z2 and hit the 'map" button. Nothing happened. Questions. Do I need to unlock the hard drive first? After hitting the 'map' button do I have to hit another button? Do I have load the al the files in one directory of just he 'sdata" folder with all the sub folders and files? HELP Please
  8. Thanks for the info on the Full Release site.
  9. WOULD EVERYONE READ THE PREVIOUS POSTED IN THIS LINK, MOST OF YOU QUESTIONS HAVE BEEN ANSWERED ALREADY. TWO GUYS ALREADY TESTED THE Z1 UPGRADE ON A Z2 AND THE BYPASS WORKED. READ READ READ
  10. Has anyone tested the www.fullrelease.com site for the Z1 upgrade on a Z2 for the bypass???
  11. Everyone wants a copy of the disc if there's no password required. All you have to do is charge lets say $20 for a copy, using Paypal and have the copy of the upgrade disc on you home computer. Using a FTP application with a password you supply, the people that pay would be able to upload the software. Simple, Secure, and everyones happy. Plus you'll probably make a profit.
  12. Will you be supplying an image of the Z1 upgrade disc? Where, When... I have a trip planned Friday to go from Souther Cal to the Moto GP race in Northen Cal. It would be nice....
