i have my gps antenna on the large metal bar supporting the dash -- the only thing above it are plastic vents and the dash itself. no problems so far.

i've been using the full nero app, but like you said, genre always shows up as other. perhaps that's a limitation of cd-text?

it really seems like pioneer is letting the Z series die, since there wasn't anything at CES this year. i was looking forward to something with a 800x480px screen and full-speed ipod control, but i guess it's not to be.
