  1. I have an AVH-P8400BH installed in a 2008 Honda Civic EX Sedan. I have a cheap backup camera installed. I have the power for the camera wired to one of the reverse lights. I also have the trigger from the Head Unit wired to that reverse light. When I put the car in reverse, the head unit doesn't always switch to the backup camera view. I'm trying to determine if it's an issue with the Head Unit or with the camera/wiring. It seems to do it more when the car's been sitting in the sun all day, but sometimes it works after sitting and the sun and sometimes it doesn't work first thing in the m
  2. So i will be getting my appradio in two days. So my question is does anyone know if the wire for the reverse lights to run the rear camera is just a 12 volt power led. So when the power comes on the lights the camera comes on. My idea is to add a front camera as well. So if the camera is only activated by the wire getting just power from the rear lights. Then i can add a video switch to control two or more video inputs. For exsample if i bought this http://www.qualitymobilevideo.com/avs200.html and added a 3 way switch running the power from say a cig lighter. I should be able to flip
  3. I can't seem to find any info on this anywhere online. I hooked a brand new ND-BC5 rearview camera to the appradio and every time I click the camera "on" by manually pressing the button, it won't go off. Not after the car is shut off, even if for more than a day, and is restarted, it always comes back on to the camera mode. Makes the radio and everything else useless and I have to do a hard restart, resetting all my stuff. Pioneer claims they have never heard of such a problem. Said it wasn't cutting off because I hadn't hooked up the pink reverse line. I told them I didn't care about it comin
  4. Hi, I have an Avic HD3 and am trying to get a camera database for it. I realise that teleatlas who were bought over by tomtom used to do one but stopped circa 2008. I know that the F series has a up and running current one. I was just wondering how different the files were on the F series to the HD3. I have found out that both files with the database of the cameras are called orbis.dat. Is there anybody that can help shed a bit more light on the mater or point me in the right direction? Could somebody share the files from the camera database of the F series with me preferably the uk ones,
  5. Hi I have a problem regarding my ny installation of a rearview camera which i bought on dealextreme. Its a 12v IR Camera link: http://www.dealextre...12v-500ma-15756 I have pluged in the RGB cable in the rearview imput on my F910BT and the power wires are connected to + and - on the distrubution box to the amp. When i accsess rearview on my F910BT i can see the image from the camera very good but when power cable is connected i get noise in the speakeres that is connected to the amplifyer. Is it possible to get rid of the noise by an 12v Noise Filter ex:http://www.ebay.com/...=item3
