eraserhead
Does anybody know of a good digital TV tuner that I can use with the D3? Here is one made by Pioneer that uses the IPBus, but I don't know if it is compatible with the D3: http://www.radiomancaraudio.com/detail.asp?PRODUCT_ID=pioneer-gexp6400tv It has RCA a/v out on it, so I guess if you couldn't use the IPBus interface, you could just wire it up to the AV2 or something. I figure it's pointless to buy an analog receiver since everything is supposd to be digital next year. Any ideas? Thanks!

clsmallwood
This may work... I would keep an eye out for this stuff http://cgi.ebay.com/New-Portable-Digita ... dZViewItem
HiFiSi
That's basically what I suggested in the topic I linked to there. Any add on tuner that connects via AV cables WITH IT"S OWN INTERFACE will work. The D3 will just treat it as an auxiliary input device. There are no Pioneer TV tuners with an AV bus output, so none of them will be able to work correctly/controlled by the D3. Just remember that in about a year, there's not gonna be anymore analog television transmissions, so the tuners will be useless.
DMax Driver
I don't know why no one seems to make a digital TV tuner for mobile applications yet. You would think that they would have a great market with analog signals ending a year from now. Everyone who currently has a TV tuner will need to get a new one. HiFiSi
Well they do have over a year to work on it still. I'm sure there's plenty of manufacturers that have them in the works as we speak.
freshstate24
http://www.mp3playerstore.com/stuff_you ... ex.html#TV I am interested in getting one of these, I figure a 75 dollar investment wont be that big of a waste of money if it doesnt work... they also have an EBAY store with good rating so I know its safe to buy from them. HiFiSi
You mean one of either of these? http://www.mp3playerstore.com/stuff_you_need/accessories/TN-7000.htm http://www.mp3playerstore.com/stuff_you_need/accessories/TN-3000.htm Either of those will work, because they operate using an on screen menu and their own remote control.
