TV Tuner Options For The D3?

Recommended Posts

Does anybody know of a good digital TV tuner that I can use with the D3? Here is one made by Pioneer that uses the IPBus, but I don't know if it is compatible with the D3:

It has RCA a/v out on it, so I guess if you couldn't use the IPBus interface, you could just wire it up to the AV2 or something. I figure it's pointless to buy an analog receiver since everything is supposd to be digital next year. Any ideas?

Thanks!

That's basically what I suggested in the topic I linked to there. Any add on tuner that connects via AV cables WITH IT"S OWN INTERFACE will work. The D3 will just treat it as an auxiliary input device. There are no Pioneer TV tuners with an AV bus output, so none of them will be able to work correctly/controlled by the D3.

Just remember that in about a year, there's not gonna be anymore analog television transmissions, so the tuners will be useless.
