fishmd
I have searched these threads quit extensively, but have not seen anything for certain. I am wondering if we take an ipod classic and hook it into the universal dock from apple and then hook the pioneer ipod cable into the back of the dock, will the video work? I have seen people mention it, but I have not seen anyone who has tried it giving their imput. I kinda hate to buy a refurb 5.5 gen ipod for like 200$, when I can get a brand new 6th gen 80GB classic for like 50$ more and the new classic has more software features etc... Someone please try this out and report on it....

HiFiSi
Probably not, or someone would have said something about it already. There's always a first guy to try something. You could be that first guy this time. YOU could be that first guy!
fishmd
I know I could, but I don't even have the ipod classic yet. I am on the fence wether or not to buy that one, or just go with a refurb 5th generation. If I had the classic, believe me I would have tried this out for shure...Anyone else.
