HiFiSi
The cable could have come loose from the back of the unit.
cntrylvr79
Second vote for the loose or damaged cable.
kdmann64
I checked the back of the unit and the cable is plugged in properly, i guess that means the cable is bad?
HiFiSi
There's no settings on the D3 that would cause the ipod to stop working entirely. If the ipod works fine by itself, there's only two links in the chain that can be faulty. The ipod cable, and the D3. I'd try workin' on the cheaper one first.
lseguy1
had same issue. reset the D3
occb2
Reset the IPOD. Then if that doesn't work, reset the D3. Rob
