mrgoodbar67
well i have the btb200 on my d3 and I programmed 1-800-555- TELL (1-800-555-8355) to my preset numbers on the bluetooth list. now i have all sports, weather, stocks, news, etc (alot of stuff) on command through my speakers. ALL FOR FREE!!!!!!!!!!! of coarse excluding airtime. just dial the number and follow the menu voive commands. the cool thing about that number is that it has voice guided menus. so you can say what you want and the automated chick voice, will get what you want. TRY IT!!!!!!!!!!!!! ITS GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
djmixmac
If I wanted SPAM, I would have opened up a can.
inferno999
If I wanted SPAM, I would have opened up a can. Eh... it's a neat idea. Can't hurt to share. ... again... lol
mrgoodbar67
"SPAM"? I dont see how but hey.....thats your opinion. Im cool with that. Like he said just thought id share bro. sorry it doesnt live up to your INFO
HiFiSi
You can also get all that info with XM or sirius, IIRC.
djmixmac
Kinda sad you posted this exact same SPAM on another thread. Do you work for a Telemarketing place or something? http://avic411.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=12950
mrgoodbar67
no i dont. just thought id add it to help people seeking something similar. i dont SPAM anything. sucks you think a fellow pioneer enthusiast's ideas are spam. im not a 1 day member with 1 post either. i joind around the time you did and you only have 100 and something more posts than me. CHILL ya? i posted it twice bc i thought id give it its own thread. man, i dunno why you think that you are "holier than thou" in regards to info that should be posted. Your not a mod so....just relax. If this were spam, the mods and super nods would have DELTETED it already. whats with this guy???????
cntrylvr79
Guess it's time for me to chime in here before this turns into an efight. Everyone's entitled to their own opinion. Making multiple identical posts, replying to another thread, and a separate post as in this case, I'm not a big fan of. Once is enough, now posting a link to a thread you made is fine. As for the topic of this thread, it's an interesting approach for those that don't want to pay for xm service to get the same thing. Well I think you need nav traffic too, but don't quote me. So lets keep it civil people. If you want to get into a post count war though, I think I win
numberone
You can also get all that info with XM or sirius, IIRC. Whats iirc?

capitala22
I checked it out, pretty useful considering you dont have to buy a tuner for it
HiFiSi
I checked it out, pretty useful considering you dont have to buy a tuner for it But you do have to buy the BT unit...
04ctd
yeah, but the BTB is a one time payment, and XM is a recurring monthly payment, and most folks have crazy time on their phone (i had over 6000 minutes last time i checked) so it's good data. but FWIW, yeah, should have just TTT the original thread. this forum gets plenty of Noob reposts due all the new buyers.
