dmz999
I want to install a AVIC-Z1 in my 06 Ridgeline but everyone tells me it wont fit. The Ridgeline can fit a double din radio but not this one? Has anyone done it?
ImolaVirus
Well, you can make ANY HU fit cleanly into ANY vehicle, if you really want it to.....Don't let ney-sayers say that you can't.

claims
I have it in my 2006 Ridgeline. Looks like factory install. Bluetooth works great along and factory steering wheel controls work as well.

bikemedic
I've got one in my ridge also. No problem at all. Get the double din kit and the wiring harness. You can also keep your rear sub if you have one by attaching an inexpensive low power amp. My amp acutual fit up in the dash behind the radio and gives acceptable sound untill I build a new one. The steering wheel controls are the most dificult part IMO. Greg

TIA[/quote] The instructions with the PAC unit are a little confusing and inacurate. For one it states to push both buttons at once, well there is only one button. On the plus side I called there CS number and they were great about walking me though it. It only took 3 min on the phone with them and I was done. Greg
