BlownSierra Posted February 21, 2008 Report Share Posted February 21, 2008 I'd like to have the video ipod capabilities on my N1 and as far as I know I can do this with an N3 brain. Will it also work with an N2 brain? What would all gains would I get from either? Would an N4 brain work or help anything? Would swapping brains make my N1 have every option and capability of the brain i'm using? On another note, would an N2/3/4 faceplate work on my N1? I have a light out and the knob doesn't sit straight so if I can pick one up cheap it would be cool. Quote Link to post Share on other sites

Your only bet is to buy an ipod cable that outputs into regular video and audio RCAs and plug that into the brain. The N4 does ipod video from the screen, but you have to buy the whole system, not just the brain Quote Link to post Share on other sites

And then could I get a cable that converts the ipod video to rca and maintain the same ipod control functionality essentially giving me full video ipod control and use? Or am I mistaken? But for video, you would unplug it from the Pioneer interface and use the RCA cable into the A/V input, giving you exactly what you have now, which is video on screen and you have to do everything from the ipod for control.
