393stroker
i tried to put my avic D-3 in my expedition but can't seem to get it to go all the way in. it fits in but won't go back far enough, it sits out right much. what do i have to remove to get it to fit? thanks
HiFiSi
The first step is finding out what's back there stopping it from sliding in all the way. Then determine whether or not it's something you can cut or move out of the way.
393stroker
i don't know if it's the rca wires or something in the dash that's stopping it from going in. i was told to remove a metal bracket, but don't see one. thanks
Fordtechman
what year expedition do you have? How about a picture of the problem.

MisFit
if its an older expedition your gonna have to cut away some of the defroster duct work to get a double din in there. was your stock radio a square block in the back, or did it curve down and get smaller?
