Slamdunker15
when i did the bypass on my n3 i disconnected the green parking break wire by ripping it out of the wiretap it was connected to and grounding it to the black ground wire, the rest of the wire is still connected to my parking break and nothing else it is just laying there with the other end not connected to anything does this cause any damage? Dane186
Aslong as your hot wires are crimped/covered correctly, no problem.
bookoo
Cover any exposed wire (or the exposed tip) with black electrical tape or heatshrink if you want a proper job and no worries down the road.

HiFiSi
If it touches any metal on the car, it might close the parking brake switch circuit... won't hurt anything, but the parking brake light would come on, which is annoying. Just cut off the rest of the wire.
Fracken21
Agree exactly with hifisi, nothing bad will happen, just trip the parking light on dash. Always tape all esposed wires.
