TonyG3sc
i wish d3 had a valet function wherein it prompts you for a password so everytime you take your car for valet or service no one could use it except you.
NY99Q45t
Why wouldn't you want the valet to know how to get your car back to you after his joyride?
HiFiSi
Wire a switch in on the ACC wire going to the radio then mount the switch somewhere out of sight. That way if somebody else is going to use your car, just flip off the switch and they can't use the D3.

Julius
I know what you're saying.I had a muffler installed on my truck last week and I cut the unit off(really sound) After the install and test drive I noticed the sound back on and a smudge on my screen.I don't know why they had to test drive my truck after a muffler install, can't you hear it in the bay ? mazda_3
if the muffler was welded then they have to make sure that the muffler doesnt blow a leak while you are driving. But when i had mine installed they were a reputable shop and specialized in exhausts so they did not test drive my car. Some of the cars they had in the shop were amazing vipers, porsches, bmws, and lots more
Julius
I think it was welded but I also think he wanted to check the system out some more because when he returned he was laughing at his co-worker and when he saw me the laughing stopped abruptly.
