KillaICM
Or you can just hook up your ps3 to it. Simple.
smartin
Yeah, I'd rather u not kill my post... But seriously could we have a divx updated because i would love to have about five DVDs in one DVD. So if we could get that in the works that would be awsome ! smartin
mhm, after reading about hundred and one threads that would require unlocking the HDD and knowing all the 1's and 0's to the software... why cant we just copy n paste!!! it doesnt hurt to ask though
djmixmac
It might be a hardware change so being able to play divx won't be done from a simple update dvd.
inferno999
It might be a hardware change so being able to play divx won't be done from a simple update dvd. Exactly. Decoding divx is difficult and very resource/CPU intense. Frankly, I don't think the Z could handle it, even if it were given the ability in a software update. They'd either need to add a decoder chip (to offload the cycles onto a a chip specifically designed for the task) or up the CPU speed.
smartin
Thanks for the info, im kinda bumbed out but eh ill get over it the Z2 is still amazing.
mccullough1212
So do you recommend any particular format, to burn my DVD's in to get the most out of my Z2? I mainly have downloaded music videos but the occasional movie is nice. Thanks

mccullough1212
as it pertains to file format though like: Avi, WMA, Svcd, Vcd, MPEG, AVI and so forth. Or do you have to burn it in dvd format? I know some of the other players take Vcd and Svcd formats. I've looked around but can't find anything! Thanks
Hyperite
Right... you have to burn it AS a video DVD.
