mrtnbrn
Pioneer must have updated the Nav disc because now the D-3 (Dec 07 build dat) will show a new "Video while driving..." screen and shut off the video when 10 MPH or more is driven. Anyone with info please post. Thanks.

HiFiSi
There are no "new units" or "new nav disks"... they are all the same. It's saying that because you didn't do the bypass correctly or one of the connections is loose.
kaplan_reject
Jan 08 Build... Bypass works like a charm.
HiFiSi
Please stop telling everybody in other topics that the bypass doesn't work any more because of a new disk or a new unit until you've got confirmation, please. No need to spread unwarranted paranoia. Chances are that you either did something wrong, there's a bad connection somewhere, or the unit you got is defective either in the parking brake wire circuit or at the pin position that the mute wire goes to. You can't base a claim like this solely on your experience with 1 single unit... especially when others are telling you that they have personal evidence to the contrary.
