pbeternal99 Posted May 2, 2008 Report Share Posted May 2, 2008 I just had my Avic D3 installed in my 2005 Scion Tc and my Illumination says off and also I have no speed pulse and it says simple hybrid. Also my navi is slightly off. So from reading these forums I am assuming the installer did not hook up the VSS or Illumination wire. So, from reading I think my VSS should go to the Orange/Silver wire on the HVAC harness. Is that right? Also how do I get the Illumination feature to work? Because right now the map wont switch to night mode which is really annoying. Thanks for your help! Quote Link to post Share on other sites
HiFiSi Posted May 2, 2008 Report Share Posted May 2, 2008 Bring it to the installer and tell him to hook both of those up. You payed him to install a fully functional unit. And as it stands, he didn't do that. No reason why you should have to be bothered with doing any of that. Go back and tell him to finish his job. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
