bmatlock00
I have a D3 with a 30gb ipod video, and works great i just want more songs. I can get a 80gb ipod video with a non-functioning clickwheel on ebay for $90. Can anyone think of a reason why i would need the clickwheel as i never touch the one on my 30gb. I do not watch videos from the ipod and all i do is plug it into the conputer then plug it into the D3. Also i can get the clickwheel on ebay for $10, how hard are these to replace if i get the right tools.
boosteddub1969
Unless you are very comfortable with small electronics I wouldn't do it. Honestly, if you don't have tools to work on a laptop just say no. I would take a look at Apples website and look at refurbed iPods. I got one for 189 and a year warranty. bmatlock00
i've replaced lcd's on laptops alot with motherboards, hard drives ect. So I feel pretty comfortable with it, but i was reading online that the clickwheel problem could be software related and not hardware. anyone had this problem?
