fredo2121
hi i just got my d1 installed on my 1997 expedition and got the ipod adapter all hooked up and running, apparantly it was just a pair of bad fuses because i bought new ones threw one in and everyhting works fine. the only down side is that i have nearly 15 gigs of music on my ipod with hundreds of albums and getting the middle like the albums that starts with the letter R is task and takes forever. does anyone know if the new generation ipod adapter solves this issue or maybe a software update will do it, any input would be highly appreciated. sportsfan21
Nope. Neither the newer adaptor nor updated software helps this. From what I've read, the problem is that the older models don't have a chip that the N3 and Z1 have that allows for proper control of the iPod.
