elcid Posted June 12, 2008 Report Share Posted June 12, 2008 The more I look, the more it appears that the F series doesn't allow steering wheel controls. The adaptors I see are all set to replace an IR remote. Are they trying to push the voice command that hard or am I simply missing something? Link to post Share on other sites

Newbie Posted June 13, 2008 Report Share Posted June 13, 2008 I have the F700BT and own a 2004 4Runner with steering wheel controls. It works fine. Take a little to get used to, but it works. Obviously it's not as smooth as it was with the original unit, but still is nice. Link to post Share on other sites

Will the PAC-SWPS have the right connector on it or will I have to splice a certain connector to it? I'll have to get on ordering that and the XM reciever next. Thanks.
