buskeyl
ONe good reason is the XDV-P6 6 disc changer also reads MP3 and WMA disks. Ofssets the Z1 HDD for D2 owners as far as I am concerned. MY factory unit had a 6 disk changer, so this might be a good fit more wee too. DVD is a bonus.
GnatGoSplat
Having an iPod already offsets most of the benefits of the Z1 HDD, IMO.
buskeyl
I am not an Ipod owner, but I was considering buying one just to use with this adapter and the D2. However all the stuff I have read regarding the shortcomings of the software used on it, the info it provides, and does not provide and the speed of the interface, all has warned me off the Ipod track. Good point though. The more I look at it, the less the Z1 is worth it. Lee
sportsfan21
Look into getting the iPod2Car instead of the Pioneer iPod adaptor. It displays the entire title and artist name, still plays while you change and search through tracks and searches faster (not much, but faster). You can also go on eBay and pick up an iPod that works but has a broken screen. You don't need the screen on the iPod since the display will be on the D2.
