supernet
I just got the F90BT Installed 2 things are REALLY bugging me 1) On the Maps it is showing downward and not upword , I hit the Red/White arrow and it does nothing ( i really really really would like this to work ) 2) For my steering wheel controls everything works but up and down for presets , they tried to program the device to do presets but the F90 won't do it, it worked on the D3 3) The presets won't show for the HD radio(model # GEX-P10HD), just a blank screen with numbers but won't show the presets, is this normal? Also the installer used the same harness as my D3 but moved like 3-4 wires, is that ok??? I love the radio but would like these 3 issues fixed, PLEASE HELP..

dgoody
Supernet, Sorry. I can't help you, but I will back you up on the 2-D map issue. I can't figure out how to get the 2-D map to show anything other than North Up. I prefer to have my current heading at the top of the display -- just like in the 3-D image. I suppose one solution is to select the 3-D map and then use the rotate keys to rotate the image to near vertical. You'd basically get a 2-D display with your current direction at the top. That may actually be the engineers / designers plan...?
Vipersd1
When JasonH was reviewing the AVIC-F90 on this forum, he stated that the compus will only point North in 2D mode and he couldn't get it to change either.
