JFree
Plain and simple, Can you bypass the D3 internal Amp? I have been searching threads for a while and came up with nothing. Any help is appreciated.
HiFiSi
Yes. Just don't hook up the speaker wires. That's what the RCA preouts are for.
deadlyap1
By bypass do you mean shut it off completely? If so, just don't load it and it wont make any heat or much draw.
JFree
Yes. Just don't hook up the speaker wires. That's what the RCA preouts are for. Thanks, do you get a cleaner sound by doing this?
HiFiSi
Yeah, if you are using external amplifiers... how were you thinking of hooking it up?
JFree
Yeah, if you are using external amplifiers... how were you thinking of hooking it up? Well I never knew you could do this personally, but I assume my installer was going to go the RCA route. I feel kinda retarded b/c I never knew this and I know a little something about Car Audio. Thx for the help though!
HiFiSi
Well you only use the RCA cables if you have an external amplifier. You use the speaker outputs if you DON'T have an external amplifier. That's about all there is to it.
