I was wondering if anyone knows a way to get my steering wheel volume controls to work with the Z1 on my 2003 Lincoln Aviator. If anyone has gotten there steering wheel controls to work on any other make/model please respond with some input. Thank you.

That's cool. I actually have my Z1 installed in a 2003 Lincoln Aviator. I believe that 03Aviator here also has one (but it's just a guess).

You need a pac SWI-PS, follow the instructions on their site.

just scroll down, do not get a SWI-X, get a SWI-PS.

I think that Crutchfield sells them, it's where I got mine.

then connect the input to this to one of the 3 wires in the 20 pin wiring harness that you didn't use when you installed the Z1. Programming is a bit of a pain, but it's doable if you follow the procedure. and it does work with the Aviator.

The 20 pin harness has the steering wheel controls and the VSS wire. I can't remember which colors were which. If you can't figure them out I can look them up.
