lordvdr
I did a brief search and didn't see this problem reported by anybody so here goes. I've noticed that when I shut my car off, my radio station on my 900BT changes. For instance, if I was listening to 102.1 FM, when I turn off the ignition radio station drops to 101.9. Whatever radio station I'm listening to, the FM tuner always drops by 1/10 of a MHz. Because the 900BT stays on (even with the ignition turned off) until I open the car door I can actually see this happen. Has anybody else experienced this?
GDGR
Do you have an external remote or steering wheel controls hooked up? I think something in the steering wheel control box (probably an SWI-PS) is getting confused by some message on your CAN-bus. It was probably programmed incorrectly. Take it back to your installer if you had it professionally done and have them re-program that part of the system (it's external to the F-series.)
lordvdr
I'm printing out your reply as I speak. Thanks!
superjet
The red wire on the steering wheel control module needs to share the same power source that the deck has. Sounds like the power wire on the module is connected to a different source, turning off before the deck does.
