I need to know whether the unit doesn't reboot afterwards. I've had it installed at Best Buy but maybe they messed it up. osafie Posted February 12, 2009 Report Share Posted February 12, 2009 If you connect the yellow cable, the unit does not turn off on crank. However, if you turn the ignition to the ON/ACC position, leave it there until the system turns on, and then crank the engine, the system will turn off and you will have to turn it on manually. I have had no problems with the unit turning on automatically after I crank the car. Sometimes it will reboot randomly at weird times, but it is very rare.
