S_Chiem424
Hi, I'm new to the forums and I just bought my F700BT yesterday and had it installed, but there is just one problem..... Everything works fine, and then I tried to connect my iPod to the supplied usb connector using the wire my iPod came with.... No audio, nothing. Then I connected my phone(Nokia N95 8GB) and it worked fine. Audio, video.... Everything worked fine. I'm very confused. Is there some special adapter I need to get the iPod to function properly? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.
HiFiSi
You need the Pioneer ipod cable or the Apple composite cable. For the ipod, the USB port is only for controlling and charging the ipod. The wire you need also had red/white/yellow RCA jacks that connect to the unit's AV input to supply sound and video. S_Chiem424
Alrighty then. Thank you for your help and quick response. Do you know of any stores that would sell that cable.... I really don't want to drive an hour and a half just to get to an Apple store.
HiFiSi
You should be able to get one at best buy or Circuit City. You can also get one online.
