3d Landmark and building

Hi,. I have these 3d Landmark and buildings from my Igo 8 PDA version for the states that are not included from our F series ., please check if you guys can get it to work I assume there may be something needed in the liscense file. I am not., sure but I think it will be benefit us to share this

 

file is zipped., extract it and you will find all those 3d buildings files.

You could probably drop them in with the other 3dl files that are already in the unit. Assuming that they're the same format.

 

The navi has its existing 3dl files in:

My Flash Drive\APL2\iGo\Content\Building

I thought F series had 3 landmarks and buildings?

It does, but appearantly it does not have a lot of them.

I filled my BUILDING folder with all the missing ones and the systems seems to work normally. Unfortunately, I don't live where these will show up, so I need to road test it.

sweet the 3d landmarks work was in downtown toronto and the old city hall and some other building is a 3d landmark without the add on

Landmarks (what AVIC shows) are the 3DL files. There are also 3DC files which are buildings in general. There are far more of them (i.e. Chicago seems to have may be 5-6 landmarks that I have seen so far, but all of downtown and most of surrounding areas are modeled in 3DC). PC version of iGO shows those 3DC files just fine, but so far I was not able to configure AVIC version to show them...
