Lu Scola
I was at my buddies shop the other day, and they were installing a F900. I asked him why they were installing that model with all the problems I have seen on Avic with the F series units. They told me that they had the "new release F-series" and all the problems were fixed. I have not bought one because of the problems. If anyone has some info, please share. Thanks, Lu
HiFiSi
Pioneer installed the upgraded firmware on all the units it was shipping out a long time ago. If it has the updated firmware (I'm fairly sure any new F-series in stores will) it will have a round blue sticker on the back of the unit somewhere.
terron
lmao there is no F series unit with all the problems fixed. I feel sorry for the customers he just gave that misleading information to.
Gamezilla
if it makes any sense, my unit has the following version info: Map Version: 01.000600 Version: 1.001700 I got my unit about a week ago and never applied any updates to it
chickon
you already got the "latest" version. which is still buggy as hell. I will give Pioneer 2 more months. if nothing comes out ... I swear Im going to break my F90bt, claim insurance, then just buy a Kenwood or something.
