Because the HD3BT is not a "D-series" unit here in the US, it's a "Z series" unit. It's basically the European version of the AVIC-Z3 Quote Link to post Share on other sites

Although I believe there is also a setting in Settings to set whether night mode inverts the map or not. I'd check there first since it's easier than pulling the stereo out to check the wiring.
