jasonshine
I spent about $350 for an install at an authorized pioneer dealer (Zippos in East Brunswick NJ) It included install for the head unit, bluetooth, ipod, and sirus. Since no one has a double din kit for my volvo (most places dont) they did a custom job on the single din volvo kit everyone stocks - it didnt look very good because their custom kit maker dude was rushed(long story) so I found that volvo had a rare double din kit for my car and got that for $40 - I brought it back to the installers and they swapped out the kit - it looks much better now and they threw in a few extras to make up the difference in price to make up for the inconvenience - it took in total a day and a half - but I assume that my car sat at their store for hours the day I dropped it off. I also had connections to my other dvd player and 2 flatscreens.

hellmaster
I paid $150 for the Z1 and ipod interface install in NYC. Ofcourse they did a sloppy job and I wish that I did it myself. I have to go in there and make sure they indstalled the ducati flasher. I'm not sure if they did or not. The left screws out, used the wrong screws for the Z1 and the console and so on. The did not connect the illumination wire or something because I do not have dimming. For those in NYC do not go to Speed World on Queens Blvd.
