blackdog69
I did the hardware bypass when the unit was installed which is essential. I have read about the software method, but someone said you still have to change the ground wire? The only advantage of the software bypass is for those that have installed the unit, they do not have to remove the unit for access to the wires on the rear. However, if you have to access rear wires, why not suggest to do the hardwire bypass which is foolproof? Am I missing something? Also, can the MSN feature ever be added to the f700? Thanks, this forum is great.
HiFiSi
You still need to ground the parking brake wire if you're doing the software bypass. You just do not need to relocate and ground the mute wire.
Ravage
Also, can the MSN feature ever be added to the f700? No, the F700 does not have the correct chip avaliable.
