John02TrailBlaz
I have a 2002 Chevy Trail Blazer. Used a GMOS-01 Kit which had 3 orange wires was told my vehicle did't have illumination going to the radio and thats why i lost all my dash lights.. can't even see my damn speedo. checked fuses replaced the ones gone bad. did i do a wrong job wireing it? OR is it just randomly geeked. The navi info says illumination is off. So idn.. thanks for help in advance. -John
mrspike
did you hook up the orange or the orange/white wires? did you tape or put a crimp cap on them separately? Sounds to me like it something with the bulb or led that runs behind the gauges. Make sure you take the fuse out and look at it or just if you have another one of the same size replace it. Also check all of your fuses. I found that in the saturn cars the hvac fuse is the switched fuse for the radio. Anything else light up=center lights around ac controls. If so its the bulb or led that behind the dash.
John02TrailBlaz
i taped the wires off and i lost ALL illumination.. i found 2 blown fuses which i replaced and to no avail still no illumination.. the AC is digital so that still works but i lost everything upfront. im going to try to check the wireing and fuses next nice day but im going to the casino tonite so wish me luck =)
